A good friend of mine shared his time and the use of his power tools one afternoon and we made this farmhouse table. That was it! That was the moment I gained an appreciation and a passion for woodworking and all things hand crafted. I had never taken a shop class, never owned anything more complex than a cordless drill, and much less, never created anything of worth with my hands. Now, I have turned my two-car garage into a respectable, yet dusty, woodworking shop.
Who am I?
I am a believer, a husband to my fantastic wife, a father to two amazing daughters, and a recent retiree from the United States Air Force. Currently, I stay pretty busy as a pilot for a major US airline. As “empty-nesters”, and between airline trips, my wife and I enjoy playing tennis and trying to track down our kids for a meal together. Then, in what spare time is leftover, I enjoy getting some shop time. Wood turning seems to be the niche I have gravitated towards and it goes well with my not-so-perfect "rustic" woodworking approach.
If you would like to stay up-to-date with what's going on in the shop, feel free to subscribe to my email list in the block below. For now, you can expect to receive emails on any additions to my blog, website and online store.
I do post all my work on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, so be sure and follow me there.
Take care and God Bless,
